Who Are We?

We are the people of Ocala First United Methodist Church!

We believe God has called us to serve and to bless those around our church in the downtown area, historic district, and in the surrounding neighborhoods. Our vision is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who transform the Ocala community and the world.

Christ-Centered

(Jesus said) "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, then you will produce much fruit. Without me, you can’t do anything." - John 15:5

Community Impact

(Jesus said) "I was hungry and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me. I was naked and you gave me clothes to wear. I was sick and you took care of me. I was in prison and you visited me . . . I assure you that when you have done it for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you have done it for me." - Matthew 25:35-36, 40
